6. Service providers and data transfers
To run the shop we use carefully selected service providers that process data solely on our behalf and according to our instructions:
- Clerk (sign-in and customer account) – name, email address and sign-in data
- Convex (database) – orders, cart, wishlist and addresses
- Stripe (payment processing) – payment data; card details are processed by Stripe only and never stored by us
- Hostinger (web hosting) and Cloudflare (DNS, security and image delivery)
- Email delivery for order confirmations and contact requests
Some of these providers are based in the USA or the EU. Transfers to countries without adequate data protection rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or, where the provider is certified, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
7. Retention periods
We process personal data only for as long as the respective purpose requires or the law obliges us to:
- Customer account: until you delete your account. You can delete it at any time in your account settings.
- Orders and invoices: 10 years under the record-keeping obligations of the Swiss Code of Obligations (Art. 958f CO). After an account is deleted, these records are detached from your account and kept without phone number or notes.
- Contact requests: until the request is resolved, then for at most 2 years.
- Anonymised search and usage statistics: not linked to you personally.
